The team behind the AI Spam Score

PureRank is an independent content-quality tool that scores any website for AI-generated content spam and estimates its risk under Google's spam and scaled-content-abuse policies. We are not affiliated with Google, and we don't sell rankings — we measure a specific, explainable pattern and show you the evidence.

Why we built it

Google's June 2026 spam update made one thing clear: the problem was never "AI content." It was scale without value — sites publishing thousands of thin, templated, trust-free pages because the marginal cost of doing so had collapsed. Existing "AI detectors" answer the wrong question ("was this written by a machine?") and answer it unreliably. We wanted a tool that answers the question that actually predicts risk: does this site look mass-produced rather than made for people?

So PureRank looks at the whole site, not one paragraph — 40+ public, explainable signals across seven dimensions: linguistic markers, stylometry, formatting, cross-page originality, publishing velocity, the trust/E-E-A-T surface, and AI-search manipulation. Every score comes with a per-signal breakdown, because a number you can't interrogate is worthless. You can read exactly how it works on our methodology page.

The company

PureRank is operated by SVS Project LLC, doing business as IT Carolina, a limited liability company based in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. That means there is a real, contactable business behind this tool — see our Terms and Privacy Policy for the full legal details, or reach us any time at [email protected].

Our independence

The AI Spam Score is a heuristic estimate for editorial prioritization. It is not a Google metric, and it can't prove authorship of any single page — no tool can, and we say so plainly. We publish the full method, disclose the score's limits, and calibrate hard against false positives, because a spam-detection tool that cries wolf is worse than none at all.
