What we collect

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. Raw fetched HTML of scanned sites is discarded after analysis; only the computed report is stored.
Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process data on the following bases: performance of a contract (providing the Service and your reports), legitimate interests (securing the Service, preventing abuse, and product analytics), consent (non-essential analytics cookies, where required), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
Cookies & analytics
We use strictly-necessary cookies from our authentication provider to keep you signed in and to protect the bot-check. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage; it sets analytics cookies and processes usage data under Google's terms. We do not use advertising or cross-site retargeting cookies. Where required by law (for example, for visitors in the EU/UK), non-essential analytics cookies are set only after you consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time through your browser controls.
Sub-processors
We rely on the following providers, each under their own data-processing terms:
- Google Cloud Platform — hosting infrastructure
- Clerk — authentication
- Stripe — payments
- Cloudflare — DNS, TLS, Turnstile bot protection, and email routing
- Google Analytics — aggregate usage analytics
- Google Search Console API and the Internet Archive (Wayback Machine) are queried to produce reports.
Retention
Reports and account data are kept while your account is active. You can delete individual reports from your dashboard at any time. On account closure we delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except records we must retain for legal, tax, or accounting reasons (e.g. invoices), which are kept only as long as the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA) you may request access, correction, deletion, export/portability, or restriction of your data, object to processing, and — where processing is based on consent — withdraw consent. California residents may exercise CCPA rights (including the right to know, delete, and opt out of "sale"/"sharing," which we do not do) free from discrimination. Contact support@pure-rank.com; we respond within 30 days (extendable where the law allows). You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
International transfers
We and our sub-processors are based in or process data in the United States. Where data is transferred from the EU/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as our sub-processors' Standard Contractual Clauses).
Security
Data is transmitted over TLS. Access is restricted and authenticated. Private reports are readable only by their owner (and their Agency team) or an administrator. No method is 100% secure; we work to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes & contact
